First Wedding of 2017 - wedding photography at Sheene Mill, Royston by Photographvie

Huge congrats to Laura and Seany who tied the knot on Monday 13th February with a small gathering of friends and family and enjoyed the first day of warm sunshine in a few months!
Here's a brief rundown of the day and some photography highlights....
Booking: I first spoke to Laura about 6 months ago and we talked through the plan for the wedding and some ideas around what photos she liked and a few different poses to try. Having not photographed at Sheene Mill before I arranged a tour to find all the best places for photographs.
The Wedding: On arrival, I met up with Seany and the Best man to do some of the pre-wedding shots... great for the Bride to see after the wedding and good to get everyone a little less camera shy! Love the home-made button-holes!!
The ceremony was held outside overlooking the beautiful mill pond, Laura looked absolutely stunning, walked down the aisle by her children and met with tears and looks of love under the pagoda.
After some beautiful hand written vows, everyone having a laugh and some photos of the register, Seany and Laura welcomed married life with a champagne downing challenge!
The Photos: Laura had been quite specific when we spoke that she wanted to try a few different ideas so armed with a Pinterest board and some willing models, we gave it a go!
The lighting was lovely and with so many smiley faces and lots of giggles in such a beautiful venue too, we got some great photos that everyone was pleased with.
