What to expect

“How long does it take? What do I need to bring? Can children and partners be in the photos? What should I wear?”

• Cake smash photoshoots start with a birthday portrait and family photos, photos of the cake smash are next and finished with having a splash in the bath with some bubbles to clean up. Siblings (and pets) are more than welcome to join in at the end of the cake smash and help with the bath.

• All decorations are provided and you can choose from a variety of outfits (or you can bring your own).

• The theme or colour scheme is your choice, the Photographvie Facebook Page is a great place to see past photos and to be inspired or please ask when booking for some ideas.

• Including sentimental items is a great way of personalising your photoshoot - teddies and favourite toys both look great.

• I use a great local cake maker who creates fantastic cakes to tie in with our set - dairy and gluten free cakes are available by request and they taste amazing too! The charge for adding a cake is £35 or you’re very welcome to bring your own shop bought or home made cake.

• Cake smash photoshoots will last about an hour. Some children prefer playing with the cake and getting messy or splashing in the bath and popping bubbles.

• Birthday mini session; An alternative should you require a much simpler celebration - this is just for baby and will include coloured balloons and wooden numbers. There is no cake included with this mini session. Studio time will be around 20-30 minutes.

• Following your photoshoot, we will book a viewing & ordering appointment at which you will look through a gallery of your professionally edited photos and choose your favourites. This can be back at the studio or arranged via Zoom for your convenience.

Birthday Mini Session: £95

This includes:

• A mini photoshoot with your choice of backdrop and balloons, simple and straight forward - perfect for a few gorgeous photos of your baby.

• This mini session does not include family photos, siblings or pets, and will not include cake or a bath.

• Professional hand editing of your photos to a high standard.

• 3 digital photos of your choice.

• Additional images or products are available to add-on at your viewing or upgrade to the full digital gallery for an extra £175.

• Access to our VIP group on Facebook with referral discounts, priority booking and exclusive offers.

Cake Smash Photoshoot: £65

This includes:

• A photoshoot with your choice of theme or colour scheme, family photos, including other children and pets, decorations and use of an outfit.

• Cakes can be added for £35 or you’re very welcome to bring your own.

• Professional hand editing of your photos to a high standard.

• A viewing appointment either in the studio or online to go through your favourites and choose a package of photos.

  • Photos start at £125 for 5 digital images.

  • There are no images included with this booking.
